Humanity Inc, a London, UK and Boston, USA-based startup working on the development platform helping people learn about their own ageing process, announced that it secured a $2.5 million capital investment round.

The money was provided by a range of US-based investors led by One Way Ventures, and including angel investor Esther Dyson.

At the same time, it was announced that George Church and Aubrey de Grey will join the company's Science Advisory Board.

Humanity Inc, founded in 2019 by Peter Ward and Michael Geer, is working for the development of a platform that will enable users to find out what actions they can take to slow their aging process and thus reduce the risk of disease by tracking key aging biomarkers (digital and blood). The app, which will be made available on a subscription basis, is still in an alpha version and expected to roll out in both the UK and the US in 2021, and later on worldwide.
