Iceland's industrial technology company DT Equipment raises $1.1M from Brunnur Ventures.

The industrial technology company DT Equipment has secured its seed funding round of 135 million ISK (USDM 1,1) from Brunnur Ventures. The company participated in Startup Energy Reykjavik 2014.

DTE is a developer of specialized industrial equipment, mainly focusing on the aluminum smelter industry. The company develops amongst others an element analyzer (hardware and software) for realtime chemical analysis of aluminum in industry. DTE’s products optimize production processes and therefore reduces cost of production.

DTE has previously received a ~$200K (25m ISK) grant  from the TDF and participated in Startup Energy Reykjavik in 2014.
