Imerso, an Oslo, Norway-based startup providing a digital tool for 3D scanning of construction sites that can be converted into BIM to model based on digital measurements, secured NOK 20M ($2.4M) in capital investment.

The money was provided mainly by Norwegian investors, including Loe Equity, Newmark Capital, Simula and StartupLab.

Imerso, founded in 2014 by Frederico Valente, Simen Andresen and Sarah Muller, developed a solution for construction teams, enabling them to easily use any 3D Scanner in order to add incoming field-data in the right place automatically. The tool uploads and keeps accurate As-Built documentation of all project stages to improve coordination, accountability, and prepare upcoming work. The company is yet to be profitable, at a revenue number of NOK 3.6M ($450k) for 2017.

Prior to this round, Imerso has raised money from Arkwright, StartupLab and 500 Nordics.
