Incari in a €15 million Series A financing round led by Lukasz Gadowski.
Incari, a Berlin, Germany-based software developer, announced the completion of a €15 million ($18.3M) Series A financing round.
The proceeds will be used to scale the company's product in industries such as health, construction, and aerospace.
Incari GmbH, founded in 2011 as CGI Studio GmbH by CEO Osman Dumbuya, ideveloped an HMI development platform used in the automotive industry.
The Incari HMI development platform facilitates a process which is optimised to meet the needs of new HMI concepts and products with a 3D-first approach that does away with the restrictions or previous tools which are geared towards simple two-dimensional representation. Dynamic processes and 3D models can be rendered in real-time and visualised on a variety of output devices. This is what allows applications with a spatial reference, such as augmented reality, to be realised in the first place.
The platform is being carried out in joint research and development cooperation with the Fraunhofer Society’s Institute for Open Communication Systems and Institute for Industrial Engineering and Organisation as well as the Daimler Center for Automotive IT Innovations.
Incari initially raised funding from Armin Pohl’s Wunderkind Invest.
