inRiver, the Malmö-based SAAS provider, wants to expand in US through acquisitions

inRiver, founded in 2003 and led by CEO Niclas Mollin, provides Product Information Management (PIM), helping B2C and B2B multi-channel commerce and marketing professionals tell perfect product stories across all sales channels.

The company had raised $13M in external funding with backers such as Industrifonden and Verdane Capital.

In 2015, inRiver had revenues of SEK 55.9M ($6M) and in 2016 they increased their recurring revenues by over 60%.

The company looks for accelerated growth via acquisitions on the American market.

Niclas Mollin:
"It could be about complementary software that we can develop ourselves, but that we can acquire to quickly get into competence and functionality of the company. If we make acquisitions in the US, it would also give us a stronger geographical presence in the market."
