Intelligent Marking added Johnny Laursen as investor in the company.

Intelligent Marking, a Hjørring, Denmark-based startup manufacturing a robot providing automatic line marking for sport complexes, secured capital investment from local private investor Johnny Laursen.

The amount of capital was not disclosed and the deal was made for 10% of the shares in the company. Other investors in the company include Jacob Risgaard, Mikkel Jacobsen, and Henrik Jørgensen, who serves as chairman of the board.

Intelligent Marking, founded in 2013 by Andreas Ydesen and Anders Ulrik Sørensen, has developed a robot that is used by sports organisations to have the lines drawn in their fields. The company has recently opened an office in the USA.
