Irootfor AB acquires the British brand X-Gamer, a producer and retailer of energy supplements for e-sports players.

Irootfor AB, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based e-sports focused company announced the purchasing of the British brand X-Gamer, a producer and retailer of energy supplements formulated for the E-sports market segment.

The value of the transaction remain undisclosed, while the two founders of X-Gamer, Matt Rees and Daniel Davis, remain in the company and also retain ownership.

Irootfor AB, founded in 2014 by CEO Robert Hjelmer, is a firm that operates a few brands within the e-sports vertical. The company manages Fadecase, which manufactures merchandise with skins (painted designs from various TV and computer games) and Orcbite, a clothing manufacturer bought in 2017.
