IT Relation acquires TechBiz.

IT Relation, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based provider of IT outsourcing services for smaller businesses, announced that it acquired Techbiz, a smaller company providing similar services and also based in Copenhagen.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

TechBiz, founded in 2000 by Joakim Bach Friis and Nikolaj Friis, provides IT outsourcing services and offers IT security solutions, backup, IT management and support.

IT Relation, managed by CEO Henrik Kastbjerg, is a leading provider of managed IT services, and was formed in 2016 as a merger of IT Relation, Front-data and DSI-Next, in a deal financed by private equity company Adelis.

In 2018, Adelis sold IT Relation to HgCapital for $21M.

The company has about 480 employees based in 9 locations, including three major customer centers in Herning, Aarhus and Copenhagen.
