LanguageWire acquires FrontLab, strengthens position in global localisation services.
LanguageWire, a Frederiksberg, Denmark-based company managing a language service marketplace, announced the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Frontlab ApS.
The financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed. The founders of Frontlab, Ruvan Fernando and Ib Tørsleff, will join LanguageWire’s management team.
LanguageWire, founded in 2000 and led by CEO Henrik Lottrup, developed a software as a service solution that provides content in multiple languages to corporate businesses. The company aims to provide optimal workflow solutions to contract customers via automated processes, providing a quick and easy way for companies to reach their customers by speaking their customers’ own language.
LanguageWire is based in Denmark, with offices in seven other countries and accounted for DKK 50M ($8.3M) in turnover in 2017.
