Lavo TV adds NOK 4.1M in funding for a live video streaming mobile app

Lavo TV, an Oslo, Norway startup working on a mobile app for video streaming, secured NOK 4M ($500k) in capital funding.

The money comes from Innovasjon Norge (NOK 2.1M) and from five Norwegian (Bergen-based) private investors.

Lavo TV, founded in 2016 by CEO Tom Roger Sokki, has developed an app for live streaming on mobile and tablets. The company intends to make money by launching a subscription service on top of the free experience the app provides.
