Le Petit Béret raises €1.5 million from bpifrance and local investors from France.

Le Petit Béret, a Béziers, France-based producer of beverages without alchohol, announced securing funding of €1.5 million ($1.8M).

The money was provided by investors from France and includes a 500k from bpifrance, as well as equity provided by the agricultural cooperative group InVivo , the Innov'Alliance competitiveness cluster, Angels for Food, from wine producer Gérald Vallée and Bruno Thévenin, former CEO of PepsiCo France.

Le Petit Béret, founded in 2015 by Fathi Benni and Dominique Laporte, produces alcohol-free wines. The company has 15 employees and sold 1 million bottles in 2020 and projects 4 million sales this year.
