Like a Boss Games adds $1.6M more in investment to further work on the release of first titles.

Like a Boss, a Stockholm, Sweden-based mobile gaming company, announced raising $1.6M in outside funding.

The money comes from a range of local investors, including Almi Invest, Fredrik Åhlberg and other un-named private investors from the Nordic region.

Like a Boss, founded in 2015 and and led by CEO Alex Aguilera, is a mobile & VR games studio looking to combine social multiplayer experiences with global sports brands. The company is still in stealth mode and focuses on the smartphone sports game market, estimating to release a first title in 2018.

In 2016, the company was almost breakeven and had sales of SEK 5M ($590k).

Prior to this deal, the company raised about $700k in two round investments from investors including Almi Invest, Daniel Laurén, Maths Ohlsson and Milky Way Cap.
