Loyal Guru raised €2 million from US venture firm Greycroft.
Loyal Guru, a Barcelona, Spain-based company managing a business based on selling an end-to-end loyalty marketing platform, announced the completion of a €2 million ($2.2M) capital investment round.
The money was provided by the the American venture company Greycroft Partners.
Loyal Guru, founded in 2015 by CEO Borja Sanfeliu and Javi Fernández, developed a SAAS platform capable of analyzing data on consumer behavior and then suggest marketing strategies, customized offers and loyalty products. The company works mainly with customers from the large food distribution sector, which contributed 85% of their 2019 €1.5 million turover. Clients include brands such as Plusfresc, Ametller Origen and Spar supermarkets and other large chains such as Pyrénées or Mango stand out.
Prior to this round, the company was bootstrapped and started with an initial investment of €25,000 by the founders.
