MaaS Global has completed a funding round of €9 million.
MaaS Global, a Helsinki, Finland-based operator of the “Mobility as a Service” (MaaS) concept, announced that it has recently completed a funding round, securing €9M ($10.5M).
The name of the investors part of this round remain undisclosed.
MaaS Global, founded in April 2015 by the CEO Sampo Hietanen, developed the Whim app, a mobility service which allows users to book and pay for all mobility services in one app for one monthly fee. The Whim mobility service currently operates in Helsinki region in Finland, West Midlands in UK and Antwerp in Belgium.
MaaS Global has raised roughly $20M from private investors since its founding.
