Maplet receives 150k euro from Superhero and Lifeline Ventures.
Maplet, a Helsinki, Finland-based compant that developed a software as a service platform transforming static maps into sales tools, received EUR 150 000 ($167k) in financing from Lifeline Ventures and Superhero Capital. The company intends to spend money on product development and internationalization.
Maplet, led by CEO Tommi Pisto, has developed map utilization as a sales and customer service tool, and has added interactive and gameplay elements to maps. For example, Maplet offers an embeddable component to a customer's page and can be used to add information that the company looks to require.
The company has ten employees and about 100 customers in Finland, Russia, the Baltic countries and Central Europe. The turnover for 2015 was 90,000 euros.
