Mediately, a Ljubljana, Slovenia-based startup operating a multi-lingual search engine for medical drugs, announced completing a series A funding round closed at €7.2 million ($8.2M).

The money was raised from investors led by the British VC Piton Capital, and joined by VentureFriends, Silicon Gardens and LAUNCHub Ventures.

Mediately, founded in 2011 by Brent LaRue and led by CEO Blaž Triglav, is a mobile development shop that operates a vertical search engine making availble information about drug information. The engine is available in 8 languages, covering Central and Eastern European countries.
