MediCheck raises SEK 4M more.

MediCheck, a Stockhom, Sweden-based company providing online medical services, secured SEK 4M ($510k) in a new capital raise.

The money comes from existing and new investors including Propel Capital, Sara Steinvall, Johan Ranstam, Lars Svensson, Mattias Ejbe, Christian Ehrhardt and Mattias Weinhandl.

MediCheck was founded in 2016 by Thomas Ehrengren and Christian Tärnholm. The company developed an online platform allowing doctor consultations via video calls or instant messaging and is working with 190 specialist doctors, dieticians and psychologists help people who have chronic or temporary illnesses through video calls and messages. The customer chooses a specialist based on individual preferences and needs, without having to need a prior referral.

In 2017, MediCheck raised SEK 4.7M, three months after being incubated by STING.
