Mimica raised a $6 million Series A funding from Khosla Ventures

Mimica, a London, UK-based software company developing a software tool used for automating repetitive tasks, announced closing a $6 million in series A financing round.

The money was raised from investors led by the American VCs from Khosla Ventures.

Mimica, incubated in 2018 at Entrepreneur First by Raphael Holca-Lamarre and Tuhin Chakraborty, developed a SAAS solution sold to corporation interesting to optimize repetitive tasks. The tool mines employee click and keystroke data in search of repetition, structure, and rule-based logic - all signifiers of high-quality automation opportunities. It records tens of thousands of desktops, discovers all automatable processes and generates blueprints for bots, slashing deploy times for automation projects.

Mimica launched its product (Mapper) in 2020 and works with customers including Dell, AT&T, Hexaware, Experis and Ironbridge.

The company previously raised funding from EF and Episode 1.
