Mindler, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company building a business based on a digital marketplace for therapeuts, announced in a press release the completion of a capital round of SEK 85 million ($8.4M).

The funding was backed by new and existing investors, including Ventech and Schibsted Growth. The money will be used for expansion in Europe and for recruiting more psychologists on the platform.

Mindler, founded in 2018 by Rickard Lagerqvist (CEO), Rickard Färdig and Johannes Hatem, developed a digital service for mental health providers, whereas customers can make appointments with an accredited psychologist. The company operates from Sweden and the Netherlands, with a total of 250 employees.

Prior to this round, Mindler raised almost $5 million and acquired a smaller competitor.
