Miradore gets investment from Standout Capital, wants to expand its software solutions outside Finland.

Miradore, a Lappeenranta, Finland-based company providing device management and security software, announced getting into an investment agreement with Standout Capital, which becomes the major shareholder in the company.

Financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed. The funding will be used to increase the company's investments in organic growth outside Finland as well as pursue selective acquisition opportunities.

Miradore, founded in 2006 by Mika Liukko and Paul Palojärvi and led by CEO Simo Salmensuu, provides software to keep corporate devices (laptops, mobiles, tablets) secure, whether it is enforcing secure containers of data, passcodes, VPN usage or patching software updates remotely.

Their overall commercial proposition is to offer a secure toolbox of high quality cloud based device management software - in 2017, they had SAAS sales of around EUR 4M from clients active in several industries including healthcare, retail, government, education.

The company employs close to 40 people with HQ in Finland and sales offices in Sweden, US, Singapore, Austria and Estonia.

Prior to this deal, Moradore raised EUR 1.2M in 2012 and was backed by investors including Ari Korhonen, Finnvera, Inventure and Willem Hendrickx.
