United Kingdom Belgium 12 May 2021

MobieTrain, a Hasselt, Belgium-based developer of B2B microlearning software tools, announced the completion of a €4 million ($4.9M) series A funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by the British-Belgian Force Over Mass Capital, joined by existing shareholders, the investment fund LRM and Concentra, Family Office of the Baert Family.

Proceeds will be used for international expansion.

MobieTrain, founded in 2015 by Guy Van Neck, Mireille van Hemert-Schelling and Willi Van Boven, develops mobile and microlearning software sold to other companies, allowing employers to create learning and (re-)training programs, which employees can then access and follow from their own mobile phones.

Each course is designed to be just five or ten minutes long, via a gamified platform and bite-sized, personalized learning tracks.

MobieTrain previously raised $3 million.
