Modcam raised €3M.

Modcam, a Malmö, Sweden-based company provider of data-driven insights based on computer vision, completed a €3M ($3.4M) capital investment round.

The money will be used as the company started working with Samsung and IBM in order to scale up and become a one-stop shop for sensor analysis of flows in real estate.

Modcam was founded by Bogdan Tudosoiu, Jan Erik Solem, Tord Wingren and Karl-Anders Johansson in 2013 and develops sensors for image analysis. Prior to this deal, the company raised almost $5M from outside investors, including Spintop, Robert Bosch Venture Capital, Anders Laurin, Bert Nordberg and Peter Carlson.
