Monzo to raise a £60 million bridge funding round.

Monzo, a London, UK-based digital provider of banking services, announced that it secured funding of £60 million ($80M).

The money was raised from new and existing investors, including Novator, Kaiser, TED Global and Goodwater.

Monzo, founded in 2015 by Gary Dolman, Jason Bates, Jonas Huckestein, Paul Rippon and Tom Blomfield, is a digital-only bank platform and marketplace that allows customers to access a range of products and services. The company has almost 5 million customers, 60,000 of which are business users, and more than 100,000 customers for its premium products, Monzo Plus and Monzo Premium.

Monzo previously raised almost half a billion dollars.
