My Voice secures NOK 25M for a voice biometric solution

My Voice, an Stavanger, Norway-based company working on a voice biometric technology, secured NOK 25M ($3M) in capital investment. The backers remain undisclosed.

My Voice, founded in 2016 by Ivar Line, Nicola Andelic, and David Morris Horowitz, developed a SDK incorporating a voice biometrics system called ACV (Acoustic Correlates of Voice Quality) with the source filter model of speech communication but also employs machine learning algorithms as well.

The compamy was in stealth for the past 2.5 years and now will use the money to expand the technical team and explore ways of how their voice recognition technology can be implemented in various verticals. The team is mainly located in London, where the company currently has its main base with eight employees.
