Na-kd raised $23M in capital from new and exsiting investors.

Na-kd, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based ecommerce company, announced adding EUR 20M ($23M) as a fresh infusion of capital investment.

The investment was led by the existing owners Partech, Eequity and Northzone and included new investors such as French Quadrille Capital and La Maison from Luxembourg.

The money is considered to be a supplement to the $45M in series B investment round funding announced in 2018.

Na-kd, founded in 2015 by serial entrepreneur Jarno Vanhatapio, built an ecommerce operation selling fashion items based on a a consumer brand for women. The company grew fast, at double digit rates, reaching to a sales number of SEK 816M ($88M) in 2018.

Na-kd has 175 employees and delivers its products from its main warehouse based in the Netherlands, either selling directly online, DTC, to over 170 markets, as well as via 1,500 retailers.

Prior to this round, Na-kd raised $66M in venture money.
