Näktergal in a SEK 10 million funding round led by Katalysen & Partners.

Näktergal, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company operating a digital mortgage platform, announced completing a capital raise round closed at SEK 10 million ($1.1M).

The money was raised from investors led by the Swedish investment company Katalysen & Partners, joined by Stefan Backlund (ex-Trustly), Jon Wimmercrantz (Bambora) and Anette Tånneryd.

Näktergal, founded in by CEO Erik Bennerhult and Mikael Abrahamsson, built a digitized lending system aiming to become a viable alternative to the four main banks providing mortgage products in the Swedish market. The company produced sales of SEK 7.4 million ($800k) in the last fiscal year closed in 2020 and previosly raised roughly $2 million, last round announced in 2019.
