Nature Planet sells a majority stake to Procuritas Partners.

Nature Planet, a Middelfart, Denmark-based company manufacturing soft toys and gift products for the attractions industry, announced that it sold a majority owenrship package to the private equity firm Procuritas Partners.

The deal, which has the financial specifics undisclosed, was made with Procuritas fund, Procuritas Capital Investors VI. Nature Planet's founders will retain a significant minority stake in the company.

Nature Planet, founded in 2005 by Anne Dorthe Hjort and Michael Severin, manufactures toys, souvenirs and accessories for attractions organisations, particularly focused on the zoo and aquarium segment. The company works with 1000 customers across Europe and has a strong focus on sustainability, CSR and delivering premium quality products.
