Neat raised strategic investment from US-based Zoom.

Neat, an Oslo, Norway-based startup manufacturing video meeting devices, announced that it secured a strategic capital investment from the US-based Zoom.

The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Neat, founded in 2019 and led by CEO Simen Teigre, was started with the aim to design and engineer elegant video meeting devices for Zoom, as it provides unique, easy to set-up and use features improving the use of Zoom Rooms.

The systems are as easy to buy and set up as any consumer product, while providing complete enterprise-grade management and security. All Neat products are available to buy directly online and ship globally. The company has about 50 employees, is headquartered in Norway and has offices in the US, UK, and Taiwan.

Prior to this investment, Neat was backed by Ubon Partners, and, according to the company, it has raised $20 million overall.
