Filter Media Norway AS is the name of a new media company founded in Oslo at the end of 2015.

The company is founded by Even Aas-Eng, Lars Eide, Pål Nordseth and Harald Klungtveit and intends to build Norway's next big news site, competing against national news websites such as VG and Dagbladet.

For that, Filter Media announced the raise of NOK 1.5M ($1.8k) in external financing with the goal of employing 20 people in the following 18 months.

The money was raised after Filter Media had validated their business model in the last 12 months, by selling native advertising in a total value of NOK 2M.
