Ohpen closed a €25m Series C financing round

Ohpen, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based provider of SaaS cloud-based core banking solutions, announced raising a €25 million ()31M) Series C financing round.

The money was raised from existing investor, the private equity firm Amerborgh.

Proceeds will be used to build a team in the third-party market and further develop the platform with country-specific requirements. Ootential countries for its third party base include Germany, France, Canada, Australia and the United States of America.

Ohpen, founded in 2009 by CEO Chris Zadeh, leverages its banking software to provide outsourcing services and SaaS solutions to financial service providers, such as banks, insurance companies and asset managers. The company has offices in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Spain where it employs more than 150 people.

In 2017, Ohpen raised €15M from Amerborgh.
