ONNA Farming secured NOK 50M

Onna Farming, an Oslo, Norway-based startup aiming to build a business for producing vertical agriculture, announced that it secured a capital funding round of NOK 50M ($5.4M).

The money was raised from a range of investors from Norway, including Altitude Capital, Ståle Kyllingstad and Haakon Sæther. Proceeds will be used to build a production plant.

Onna Farming, founded in 2020 by CEO Kristina Løfman, is working for the development of vertical farming solutions. The company aims to build Norway's first large-scale vertical cultivation plant for the production of salad products and expects to have a production facility ready to go by the end of 2021.
