OnRobot has raised DKK 185m in connection with an investment round.

OnRobot, an Odense, Denmark-based robotics company, announced a capital raise of DKK 185 million ($30.3M).

The money as raised from the Danish Growth Fund, the European Investment Bank (EIB) and several Danish business families.

The proceeds will be used to accelerate the global launch of OnRobot’s products.

OnRobot was formed in Odense in 2015 under the management of Enrico Krog Iversen as the robotic arms solution provider for Universal Robots. The company today is a global supplier of user-friendly robotics grippers and sensor systems for collaborative robots, also known as cobots.

OnRobot has approx. 180 employees, sales offices in eight countries and more than 380 distributors worldwide. It previously raised $28 million in 2019.
