Opti to raise SEK 44 million in new capital from angel investors from Sweden.

Opti, a Stockholm, Sweden-based software developer for financial advisory services, announced raising a funding round of SEK 44M ($5.1M).

The money was raised from local angel investors from Sweden, including Evolution Gaming's founder Fredrik Österberg and Apotea's ditto Pär Svärdson.

Proceeds will be used to get the company start generating revenue.

Opti, founded in 2014 by Anders Wallace, Ann Grevelius, Gustav Broberg, Hannes Wikström and Jonas Hombert (CEO), developed a software solution for financial advisory used for savings in funds, independent from banks and fund companies.

The company produced revenue of SEK 2.5 million ($290k) in 2020 and has previously raised $7.7 million in outside capital, last round of SEK 50M ($5.3M) in 2019.
