Optiyol to get $810k from investors from Turkey.
Optiyol, an Istanbul, Turkey-founded and Sacramento, USA-based SAAS developer of logistics route optimising solutions, announced securing a $810,000 seed funding round.
The money was raised from Turkish investors, including the local automaker Ford Otosan’s Driventure, Fark Holding, Dinçer Logistics, Coşkunöz Holding, and Arya Women.
Optiyol, founded in 2018 by Tuba Gözbaşı and CEO Ozan Gözbaşı, develops software that is used for digitising the last mile and long haul logistics operations and uses algorithms specially designed for direct deliveries to customers. The tool is based on mathematical optimization models and algorithms designed to solve supply chain planning problems at strategic, tactical and operational levels - the company says that customers report a 15-25% reduction in fuel costs, 5-10% reductions in fleet size, and increased on-time delivery rates by 20-30%.
Optiyol raised previously about $300k.
