Pacemakers raises SEK 8.5M in fresh funding
Pacemaker, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup working on a DJ mobile app built on top of Spotify, raised $1M in a new investment funding round. The backers are existing investors, including Spintop, Victor & Victor, Plus Eight Equity and Soläng Invest.
Pacemaker, founded in 2011 and led by CEO Jonas Norberg, developed a mobile application that allows users to create musical mixtapes based on music streamed from Spotify.
Prior to this investment, Pacemaker raised a bit more than $2M in outside capital and at the beginning of 2017 the company was accepted in Techstars Music, an accelerator program based in Los Angeles.
