Papyrus announced the acquisition of Procurator, RoosGruppen becomes investor in the company.

Papyrus AB, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based paper merchant, announced that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of 100% of the shares in Procurator AB.

The transaction was completed after approval of the Swedish Competition Authority. At the same time, RoosGruppen AB has become a shareholder in Papyrus together with private equity groups Altor Fund II and Triton Fund II. The purchase price has not been disclosed.

Procurator is a Malmö based full-service distributor of personal protection equipment and cleaning & hygiene supplies has operations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Estonia, and had revenues of approximately EUR 120 million in 2015.

With net sales of EUR 1.5 billion in 2015, Papyrus is a leading business-to-business distributor of business essentials and provides more than 65,000 customers across 19 countries in Europe with Printing & Creative solutions, Facility solutions, and Industrial packaging solutions
