Parloa raised €4 million in a seed round backed by Newion, Senovo and angel investors from Germany.
Parloa, a Berlin, Germany-based software startup developing an omnichannel digital customer service, announced completing a seed funding round of €4 million ($4.2 million).
The money was raised from investors including Newion, Senovo and angel investors Michael Wax and Erik Muttersbach (co-founders of Forto) and Nicolas Peters (co-founder Signavio).
Proceeds will be used to scale the operations internationally.
Parloa, founded in 2017 by CEO Malte Kosub, developed a SAAS platform that does automated customer service and that is easy to integrate into their customers business workflows. It says it combines automated speech recognition and natural language understanding to enable companies to build automated dialogues for phone, chat, voice assistants and messenger - all in one place. Customers include Ergo, SwissLife, Decathlon, Admiral Direkt, HSE and the German Red Cross.
