ParrotPlay adds NOK 10.1M in funding, 5 of which equity investment.

ParrotPlay, a Trondheim, Norway-based company working on a social and personal streaming and TV guide provided as a native component to online media companies, secured NOK 10.1M in funding.

The money comes as a combination of grants from Innovation Norway, customer commitments (Adresseavisen) and equity investment.

The capital investment totals NOK 5M ($640k) and was raised from 300 investors a result of a crowdfunding campaign at the end of 2017.

ParrotPlay, founded in 2014 by CEO Borgar Ljosland, works with online media companies to extend their media offering to include being a single access point to all digital entertainment.
