Pento closes DKK 4M in funding to accelerate the development of its HR and payroll product.

Pento, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based startup providing a software as a service that optimizes the HR payroll process, announced that it closed a DKK 4M ($630k) investment round.

The investors include SEED Capital (through Pre-SEED Innovation), and local angel investors Jens Sørensen, Kim Agger and Nicolaj Højer Nielsen.

Pentro, founded in 2016 by Jonas Bøgh and Emil Hagbarth, developed a software solution for for bookkeepers and accountants which automates and simplifies running payroll for a company. The startup has already 300 customers and a team of 8 employees who work remotely from Denmark, Estonia and Portugal.
