Pimloc announced a $7.5 million seed round led by Zetta Venture Partners, and joined by Amadeus Capital Partners and Speedinvest.
Pimloc, a London, UK-based SAAS security developer for video solutions, raised a seed round closed at $7.5 million.
The money was raised from investors led by Zetta Venture Partners and joined by existing shareholders Amadeus Capital and Speedinvest
Pimloc, founded at the end of 2016 by CEO Simon Randall, provides specialist deep learning services for video security and data privacy applications.
The company works with entities that must provide video evidence that complies with new data privacy regulations and protects the Personal Identifiable Information (PII) of other individuals. They do this by providing Secure Redact, a data privacy platform for the anonymisation of personal data in video. Secure Redact uses AI to automatically blur faces, heads and license plates in video - a process that previously required time and skilled human operators. It can be accessed directly as an online SaaS product or via APIs and Containers to allow integration into local video workflows and systems.
Business cases currently include implementations in a range of sectors including mobility, insurance, entertainment, broadcasting and law enforcement.
Pimloc previously raised £1.4 million in 2020.
