Pipedrive received a majority investment from Vista Equity Partners

Pipedrive, a Talinn, Estonia and New York, USA-based developer of a CRM platform for sales and marketing teams, announced raising a majority investment from Vista Equity Partners.

The transaction, which values the company at $1.5 billion, has other details undisclosed. Pipedrive’s existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Insight Partners, Atomico, DTCP, and Rembrandt Venture Partners, will continue as minority investors in the company.

Pipedrive, founded in 2010 and led by CEO Raj Sabhlok, developed a software CRM platform that uses artificial intelligence and automation to help sales teams manage leads and deals efficiently, driving more revenue for the business. The company claims that it is used by sales teams at more than 95,000 companies worldwide.
