Pledge raised a $4.5 million seed round led by Visionaries Club.
Pledge, a London, UK-based software startup developing a solution helpinng logistics and transportation companies measure and mitigate shipments, rides, deliveries or travels to reach carbon neutrality, announced the completion of a $4.5 million funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by Visionaries Club and joined by Chris Sacca’s Lowercarbon Capital and Zinal Growth, the investment vehicle of Guillaume Pousaz (founder and CEO of Checkout.com).
Pledge, founded in 2021 by Andre Mohamed, David De Picciotto and Thomas Lucas, built a software platform that enables businesses of any size to provide efficient and measurable climate solutions to its customers. The solution is targeted at industries like freight forwarding, ride-hailing, travel and last-mile delivery, where customers can be presented with how to add offsets to their transactions. The companies will be able to measure and mitigate their shipments, rides, deliveries or travels to reach carbon neutrality by integrating the Pledge API. The platform aims to provide customers with analytics and insights as well as recommendations on how to reduce their emissions over time.
