Pocketlaw in a SEK 12 million funding round backed by existing shareholders.
PocketLaw, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup providing legal services, raised the capital in a SEK 12 million ($1.4M) round.
The money was raised from existing shareholders of the company, including Cristina Stenbeck, Susanna Campbell and Johan Andersson (all three investors who pre-seeded the company in 2020), Christoffer Norman (former Investment Manager at VC firm Northzone), Ludvig Thureson (founding member at Avito) and Adrian Brummer.
Proceeds will be used to fuel the company's ambitions to expand in the UK market.
PocketLaw was founded in 2019 by CEO Kira Unger and Olga Beck-Friis as part of the legal tech incubator MSA Innovation Lab, funded and founded by the Mannheimer Swartling, one of the largest Sweden-based law firm. It provides legal services to customers including Kry, Voi or Babybjörn, and has 25 employees.
