Portchain in a DKK 20 million capital raise.

Portchain, a Copenhagen-based software company building planning tools for container carriers and terminals, announced closing a DKK 20 million ($3.2M) capital raise.

The money was raised from local angel investors from Denmark, including Tommy Thomsen, Jesper Kjædegaard, Tom Behrens-Sørensen and Michael Hassing.

Portchain, founded in 2017 by CEO Niels Kristiansen, Anders Olivarius and Thor Thorup, is working with several of the largest operators in the industry as it sells planning solutions aimed to maximize utilization and capacity for terminals and carriers. The company previously raised $2.8 million in 2019.
