Pricerunner was acquired back by its founders.
Pricerunner, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company running a business based on an online price comparison platform, enterd into an agreement for getting eEquity as investors in the company.
The transaction represents a secondary deal for 35% of the equity, whereas eEquity acquires most of the shares from existing owner, Nordstjernan. Existing shareholder, Nicklas Storåkers, also increases its ownership in Pricerunner by purchasing a smaller part of Nordstjernan's shares.
Pricerunner's Chairman of the Board and a few other key persons also buy shares in the transaction.
Pricerunner was founded in 1999 by Magnus Wiberg, Kristofer Arwin and Martin Alexanderson.
