PrimaryBid in a $190 million funding round led by SoftBank's Vision Funds 2.
PrimaryBid, a London, UK-based operator of a platform that connects retail investors with public companies raising capital, raised $190 million in a series C equity round.
The money was raised from investors led by Softbank, and includes contributions from Hambro Perks and OMERS Ventures.
PrimaryBid, founded in 2012 and led by CEO Anand Sambasivan, built and operates a technology platform that allows individual investors fair access to public companies raising capital. PrimaryBid always ensures that retail investors transact at the same time and at the same price as institutional investors.
The company previously raised a $50m Series B investment round in the second part of 2020, from investors including including London Stock Exchange Group, Draper Esprit, OMERS Ventures, Fidelity International Strategic Ventures, ABN AMRO Ventures, Pentech and Outward VC.
