Prion received SEK 2.4M for launching a mobile app connecting schools with parents.

Prion, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup working on a mobile app connecting parents with schools and kindergardens, raised SEK 2.4M ($290k) in seed money. The money are used for the development of its product and come from local angel investors including Niklas Zennström, Sebastian Siemiatkowski and Sebastian Knutsson.

Prion, founded in 2014 by CEO Fredrika Bernadotte, has developed a mobile application used for sharing images in a variety of areas, including child and family pictures in the nursery. The product is to be launched in 2017 within 10 kindergartens, and will gradually develop for being rolled out to preschools all over Sweden.
