Profishop secured a $35 million series A round backed by Tiger Global.
Profishop, a Bremen, Germany-based software startup operating a B2B marketplace for procurement, announced securing a $35 million series A funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by Tiger Global.
Profishop, founded in 2012 by Arasch Jalali and Anna Hoffmann, built and operates a B2B online procurement platform that provides its customers with corporate consumables. The platform provides access to tools and materials for the construction, industry and trade sectors, with an inventory of 1.6 million products provided by 1,600 retailers which are onboarded on the platform and deliver the products once they are purchased.
The company is active in 13 markets, with the local one being the largest, and has produced $100 million in sales with 500,000 customers in 2021.
