Puzzel announced the acquisition of U-WFM

Puzzel, an Oslo, Norway-based European Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) provider, announced the acquisition of U-WFM, a British provider of workforce management and optimization software.

The financial details were not disclosed and the acquisition was supported by Marlin, Puzzel’s current main shareholder.

U-WFM, based in Sheffield, U.K. and led by CEO Matt Hughes, developed a solution that gives its customers the ability to forecast demand, monitor adherence, and optimize their contact centre operations for companies of all sizes and across any industry vertical. The company has customers across the U.K., U.S. and Australia.

Puzzel, led by CEO Børge Astrup, is a cloud-based contact centre software provider. The company is a spinoff from Intelecom as a result of a demerger of Intelecom Group completed in 2016 and creating two stand‐alone legal entities; Puzzel and Intelecom Group.
