Puzzel was acquired by Marlin Equity Partners.
Puzzel, an Oslo, Norway-based provider of cloud-based contact center software solutions, announced getting into an investment agreement by which Marlin Equity Partners becomes a shareholder in the company.
The deal, which has the financial details undisclosed, was made with Herkules Private Equity Fund III, which sold its equity position.
Herkules had been an owner in Puzzel since 2016 - it had acquired Intelecom in 2010 and in Q4 2016, a demerger of Intelecom Group was completed creating two stand‐alone legal entities; Puzzel and Intelecom Group. In Q2 2017, Intelecom Group was sold to NetNordic and Puzzel remained as such in Herkules' portfolio investment.
Puzzel, led by CEO Børge Astrup, is a leading cloud-based contact center software provider and one of the first pioneers to develop a cloud-based contact center offering. The company has offices in six European markets including the U.K and the company serves more than 900 customers across 40 countries.
